Management of Instructional Development
Course Objectives
The course will apply the principles of project management in managing innovations and planning, preparing, and monitoring the design and development of teaching-learning materials.
At the end of this course, students will be able to:
- acquire the concept of project leadership
- identify roles, responsibilities, and competencies of project leaders and team members
- classify the project management models and tools for use in instructional development settings
- determine project scope
- identify critical success factors of instructional projects
- acquire concept of planning, resourcing, budgeting, scheduling, monitoring, and terminating projects
- analyze project cost data
- use technology tools to manage instructional projects, and
- resolve project conflicts professionally
